(a message from Jalen)

I’m proud and excited to announce that I decided last night to commit to Yale University (pending admission) to continue my studies and to play college basketball! I just want to say thank you to my AAU coach, Patrick James McGlynn for taking me into the York Ballers family and for helping me grow as a player and a person! I wouldn’t be where and who I am today without him – he changed my life. Even though we have definitely had our ups and downs, there’s no other Coach I would have rather played for the past few years! It’s been a long journey and he’s been there every step of the way with me, so thanks, Coach! I also want to add on that I couldn’t have done this without the help of my parents and Uncle, who have travelled with me thousands and thousands of miles to camps and tournaments. Whether I played good or bad, they were always supportive of me and helped push me to become the player I am today! There’s no other way but to say I’m extremely blessed to have all these people in my life so thank you again!
