Yesterday City of Basketball Love, Mike Bullock, put out an article on Jalen and his thoughts about basketball, recruiting, etc.  The one thing that always stands out to me besides his grades; he thanks his York Baller Team for helping him achieve individual success.  That really says something.

York Ballers take 2 Championships @ DC Metro Showcase

The York Ballers sent 4 teams to the Annual DC Metro Showcase.  The u15 Ballers ended their run in the Final 4.  The u17 Ballers took 2nd place to an open team- Cecil Kirk.

A combo u15-u17 team made the 5 hour  trip to Hamilton, NY to compete at Colgate’s Team Camp.  The team went 3-0 to win the Championship.  We posted wins over- City Rocks, East Side- Rochester and D-Ballers.

#1 u16 AAU Team in the Mid-Atlantic District

The York Ballers u16 team competed @ the Mid Atlantic National AAU Qualifier the weekend of April 18th in Burlington New Jersey.  The best AAU teams in the Mid-Atlantics- PA, Delaware and So. Jersey competed.

The Ballers posted wins in pool play vs Team Final Blue, Philly Heat and Team Outkast.  We received a bye into the FINAL 4 hosted on May 2nd weekend in Upper Chichester.

In the semi finals we defeated the Sharon Knights by 25 and went onto beat Team Final Blue by 13n to win the u16 Championship.
