TRYOUT FEE: $10.00.
NOTES AND EXPECTATIONS:
1.) Age Level Determination & Eligibility provided below the Tryout Dates/Time Table (scroll down).
2.) 15U, 16U, 17U Showcase Team players should be available for NCAA Live Period Tournaments, normally in April, June, and July – parents don’t schedule vacations in these months!
3.) Playing Time is not equal and players are expected to be at practice just like high school teams.
4.) Make Practice – No Excuses. (Example: I have homework is not an excuse to miss practice). Missing practices impacts playing time.
5.) If your going to miss practice or game, 48+ hour notice is expected! Practice and game planning takes a lot of time and it’s not fair to your teammates.
6.) Support your teammates – don’t criticize them

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1.) Does my son need to attend all Tryout Sessions? Short answer, no. However, the more opportunities coaches have to evaluate your son the better. We recommend attending all tryout sessions.
2.) Is there online payment method? No, all tryout registration payments are to be made in cash or check at the first tryout session attended.

10U/4th Grade – An athlete must be in the 4th grade or below as of October 1, 2022 and can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2023.
11U/5th Grade – An athlete must be in the 5th grade or below as of October 1, 2022 and can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2023.
12U/6th Grade – An athlete must be in the 6th grade or below as of October 1, 2022 and can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2023.
13U/7th Grade – An athlete must be in the 7th grade or below as of October 1, 2022 and can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2023.
14U/8th Grade – An athlete must be in the 8th grade or below as of October 1, 2022 and can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2023.
15U/9th Grade – An athlete can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2023. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2022 and who is no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2023 is eligible to play in the 15U/9th grade division.
16U/10th Grade – An athlete can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2023. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2022 and who is no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2023 is eligible to play in the 16U/10th grade division
17U/11th Grade – An athlete can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2023. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 11th grade as of October 1, 2022 and who is no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2023 is eligible to play in the 17U/11th grade division.
OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
TOURNAMENTS:
Each team generally plays in 8 to 10 tournaments that run on weekends between March-June or March-July depending on age level.
10U-14U usually have tournaments that run March-June and the older kids, 15U-17U, March thru July. Tournament games are usually Saturday and Sunday, and range from 3-5 games depending on winning pool play. However, 15U-17U tournaments on occasion start Friday through Sunday.

All practices (& tryouts) will be held at the Manchester Township building in York, PA.

The practice days and times for each age level are normally finalized after tryouts. In general, practices will be twice (2x) per week on 2 of these days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Practice times will either run 6:00PM to 7:30PM or 7:30PM to 9:00PM. The later time for practices is for the older kids.
